So my dear wife one day introduced me to a cold pasta salad well enriched with various vegetables and basil infused olive oil, I really liked the taste and it kind of became a regular feature at the dinner table. This also introduced the herb parsley also for regular consumption in the meals. So the strangers had now become friends sort of as I had already liked the taste earlier, but still I had no intention of falling in love with the stranger. The time I am referring to was also sort of a discovery time for me as I was feeling aches and pains in my body and also emotionally used to be upset so I was trying to get a handle around things in life. This was the time when I discovered I was short on calcium and went back to consuming some dairy which I had avoided for 3-4 years.
I know some of you are going Dairy Oh NO! Please don’t be shocked/surprised as that was done with caution and maybe that would be another post at some time :-).
I increased my calcium intake and also took care of a few allergies/sensitivities I had to certain food items so things started improving, my acidity symptoms entirely left and there were other improvements. But there was something still lacking in here and that gap was bridged by Parsley. I was fighting some fears and anxieties which just used to strike me out of nowhere and one day I took a few sprigs of parsley and ate them, call it guidance or whatever but I just went for it and I was suddenly neutral. With the aches and pains also I realized that having more calcium was not enough so I went ahead and supplemented it by eating parsley (just raw sprigs) and there also the results improved. In the time that followed I also used to feel spaced out and driving was one thing that I think really scared me. I had avoided doing it for many years, the justification being I was a green man, environmental friendly. While this is definitely true but I think another big reason was the fear of driving. Every time I used to go out in a car I would be spaced out, just disconnect with the whole reality as we know it. But the universe had its own plans, I did need to finally get a car for multiple reasons i.e my Son’s school changed, we moved homes etc. Now what do I do?
I was stuck with this. While I was trying to work on it energetically and also seeking help from others in the same field I needed someone/something that could help and that help again came in parsley. As soon as I had 15-20 sprigs of parsley well chewed it kind of brought me back to reality, grounded me and so the love affair began. I still remember I was taking a test drive and suddenly I went completely blank , staring into the oblivion, tight head , spaced out didn’t know a thing about the car which I drove (and this was a car I had wanted to drive for a long time) and I am sure many of you know the feeling when you are doing things but you are so disconnected, spaced out with head pressure that you don’t care a shit about anything and just want to get rid of it. With this experience I stayed with the same feeling till the evening until I got back home and started munching parsley and again I felt the change come over as my head started clearing. Thereafter I always have some parsley sprigs with me when I go out and I still see some back staring at me lying at my desk as I am typing this. And of course it is a big joke for my wife as she calls me the Parsley Man :-). So I finally fell in love with my dear friend and carry it along wherever I go. Another benefit that I found with eating parsley was that you don’t feel out so drained out end of the day and if you do feel that way, it gives you a boost of energy if you munch on a few sprigs.
I actually found so many benefits with parsley that I remember when I was in India last year I found a source there too as it is not really a part of Indian cuisine or cooking. So try it out as an experiment that if you think your calcium/magnesium needs are well met and you are still having fears / anxieties go for 15-20 sprigs of parsley (preferably organic) and see if it makes a difference, even for aches/pains and maintaining a higher vibratory rate. For me it has made a whole lot of difference and I do recommend it to people I work with to give it a try for pains, anxieties, fatigue. It also has a beneficial side effect as it helps to move things faster in your stomach and digestion , works well for the elimination process.
So Why does it work the way it Does?
When I researched Parsley in terms of nutrients information it came back with the following break up for just 10 sprigs.
So I will leave you with that while I munch on my lover Parsley as I type this out. It is for you to decide whether you want to rise in love
with parsley and if you do I would definitely like to hear back on your experiences after using it consistently for some time. So do write back with your feedback as usual through emails and comments. And I at my end would like to explore drinking a shot of parsley juice some day and see what it does for me.
Good Health and Higher Vibratory Rate to ALL,
